Although ARDC attempts to ensure that the Cite My Data M2M service is always available, planned and unexpected outages will occur. Notice of all planned outages will be distributed via email prior to the event. For this reason it is important to keep your account contact information as up to date as possible.
As ARDC is dependent on a number of external services the risk of unexpected outages are increased. It is strongly recommended that application developers ensure service outages can be catered for in their applications. To assist with this process the Get Service Status endpoint has been created.
